Tempur-Pedic sleepers Angela and Joeseph enjoy an active lifestyle in the city, and great sleep is an important part of how they start their day. Prone to stiffness and pain, Angela didn’t think comfortable sleep was possible before switching from her old mattress to a Tempur-Pedic. As part of our ongoing Sleep Stories series, we sat down with this energetic couple and asked them to tell us – in their own words – how Tempur-Pedic sleep has improved their nights, and their mornings.

What do you love most about your Tempur-Pedic mattress?

Angela: You sink into it and your body settles into it. And before you know it, you're asleep. It's beautiful. I really used to dread going to sleep, because I knew that when I woke up I was going to be sore. But now with this mattress, I look forward to the mornings because I don't have to worry about waking up as stiff.

Joeseph: It just gives you that comfort zone where you're relaxed and you're at peace and you're at ease. And that alone puts you in a deep sleep. Having a well-rested night means so much and you can't ask for anymore. Really can't.

How is Tempur-Pedic different than your previous mattress?

Angela: I'm a night sweater, or I was. The breeze° mattress^ is a lot cooler than a regular mattress. It's cool to the touch when you get in and it stays cool throughout the whole night. With the Tempur-breeze°, I don't have the night sweats that I was having before.

Joeseph: It adapts to your body – however your body's positioned – it automatically just adapts to that form. As soon as you hit the bed, it just knows.

What would you say to a friend who might be considering Tempur-Pedic?

Angela: This is a mattress that impacts your entire life because it impacts how you feel. So I would say, “Girl, get the mattress. You won’t regret it!”

Joeseph: When you're lying in bed and your body feels like [the mattress] was really personally made for you, that feeling is priceless. It is the best investment you could ever make in your life.
