Do Tempur-Pedic® mattresses “sleep hot”?

This is a common question and misconception, but sleeping warm on a Tempur-Pedic® mattress is not an issue for most of our customers. The open-cell structure of TEMPUR® Material is superior to ordinary memory foam and provides increased comfort and breathability. I have some specific pains. Does that mean I need a specific mattress?

Not necessarily! All of our mattress models and feels are made out of material that is pressure-relieving, conforming and supportive. What will feel comfortable and help you the most depends on several different factors. For this reason, we recommend visiting a store near you to try the mattresses in person and figure out what would be best for you.

What is the best feel for my sleeping position?

All of our models are designed to provide proper support. Whether you choose firm, medium, or soft is a personal comfort preference. The softer models allow you to sink into them further before you are cradled by the support layer. Back sleepers tend to prefer a firmer mattress, while side and stomach sleepers tend to choose a medium to soft mattress.

Do I need to rotate or flip my new Tempur-Pedic® mattress?

Our mattresses are designed so you do not have to flip or rotate them, you’ll never have to face that backbreaking task. In fact, you should not flip our mattresses—they all have a top side that’s designed for sleeping.

Will a Tempur® mattress fit in my current bed furniture and frame?

We design our mattresses to fit most standard-size modern bed furniture and frames. Unless your product was not designed for the North American market, or is an unusual size, our mattresses should fit. If you have any questions about whether a Tempur-Pedic mattress will fit your bed or furniture frame, we recommend that you refer to the specific product dimensions.

Could you explain the 10-Year mattress warranty?

Simply put, for a full decade after you purchase your new Tempur-Pedic®, if the mattress has a defect covered under the warranty guidelines, we’ll replace or repair it. This includes all parts of the mattress. Note that there are certain circumstances that will automatically void the manufacturer’s warranty, including inappropriate foundation use and physical damage. Cover Care

Cool-to-touch removable zipper cover
allows you to machine wash.

We recommend a cold temperature setting for machine washing and a cool setting for machine drying. Air-drying is best. Do not “over-dry” the cover and do not use chlorine products or harsh stain removers of any kind.
